Redemption Song [music monday]

I’ve been thinking and praying a lot about redemption lately. I’m not sure it was an accident that I happened upon this song today. Originally by Bob Marley, my dear friend Heatherlyn uploaded this video back in January, in observance of The National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month.

In listening to it, I am reminded that we all have a redemption song to sing. We all find ourselves in states of mental slavery, needing to find our song of freedom. There are things that have held us captive and kept us from being the person God created us to be.
