You may remember my love of young author Rachel Held Evans. There are so many reasons I love Rachel … her writing is profound, she is a terrific encourager to those of us who long to be published authors, and she’s just an all-around real young woman who strives to live her life in a way pleasing to God.

So you can imagine my excitement when I heard her new book was finally being released. A Year of Biblical Womanhood gets released next Wednesday … and ya’ll … let me tell you … it’s terrific. I’m not quite done with my pre-release copy (thanks Thomas Nelson for choosing me to do an early review) but from what I’ve read so far, it’s another knock out of the park.

I’ll save my thoughts on the book itself for the forthcoming review (hopefully next week), but for now … check out this interview with Rachel from the TODAY Show. How cool is that?
