It is my hope that this blog can be a place where we can grow in community with one another.  My primary purpose in blogging is to flush out my own thoughts and ideas about books I’ve read, movies I’ve seen, speakers I’ve heard, music that has touched me, or experiences that I have had.  Many of my posts will be faith related, because it is a huge part of who I am.  Occasionally you will find a random post that has little substance but will hopefully make you smile.  My secondary purpose in blogging is to help people near and dear to me keep up with what’s going on in my life (sort of like an all-year Christmas letter).  To fulfill this secondary purpose, there may be times when I provide a small update of things going on in my life.

This blog does not represent the thoughts, intentions, plans or strategies of my home congregation and employer, the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. It is solely my opinion.

Please always feel free to challenge me, disagree with me, or tell me I’m absolutely crazy in the comments section of each blog entry, Please be respectful; however, I reserve the right to delete any comment for any reason whatsoever. I apologize in advance if your feelings ever get caught in the crossfire of my expression.  Comments are welcome.  Challenges encouraged.  But at the end of the day, I will not apologize for how I feel or what I write.  Dialogue helps us all grow.  Let’s begin the journey!
